A assinatura mensal, mais barata do que nos EUA, incentivou os usuários a transferirem seus personagens para a versão brasileira. Uma estratégia de preços agressiva garantiu que uma nova leva de jogadores visitasse o mundo de "Warcraft" pela primeira vez.

O crescimento da comunidade brasileira foi maior do que o esperado pela Blizzard. Dos dois "Reinos", como são chamados os servidores em "WoW", dedicados ao país em dezembro, hoje o jogo conta com 5 Reinos: 3 PvP (jogador contra jogador) e 2 PvE (jogador contra ambiente).Início tortuoso

Como todo começo, não foi um processo fácil e não são poucos os jogadores que guardam lembranças ruins dos primeiros dias de "WoW" no Brasil. A migração de personagens, principalmente, parece ter sido mais problemática do que o esperado.
